A Dozen Great Years
Today, the Bear and Mama Bear celebrated 12 years of matrimony. I want more.
That picture is from 13 years ago in 1993, taken in Haas Hall at Texas A&M. My roommate, Jackie, took it. The back says, "Feb 12, 1993."
12 years, 2 kids (David and Jack), 4 dogs (Darby, Max, Carly, and Crystal), 4 fish (Anakin, Darth Vader, Potter, and Goldie), 3 hermit crabs (all deceased), 3 cities (College Station, Bryan, Houston), 4 different dwellings (1 apartment, 1 duplex, 1 townhome, and now 1 house), several cars ('86 Mustang, VW Fox, '67 Mustang, '91 Olds) and trucks ('92 Ford, '97 Ford, '00 Expedition, '01 Expedition) later, we're still having a wonderful life! It's the journey that is so much fun. Objects come and go but LOVE is FOREVER!!!!!
We played one softball game today at 4 o'clock. It was hot to say the least. Rene' pitched a great game, and we won by 3 points. After the game Rene' treated me to wings and a movie lounging on the couch! My man knows what I like...softball and wings! Here's to at least 12 more!!!!!

Cathy and celebrated 24 years of blissful matrimony a few weeks ago.
Keep it up and the next 12 will go by before you know it!
