BoBo turns 60
Yesterday was my d
ad's 60th birthday. He had a bbq on Saturday with the whole family to celebrate his and my sister's July birthdays. My big brother was even in town...so you know it's a special occasion when Brian graces us with his presence!
We went swimming on Saturday before the bbq with Brian, Dolores, and Mark. It was very refreshing even though we had to wait for some thunder storms to move past before we could go swimming.
At the bbq we played a g
ame called Aggravation. Jack won handily even though Mom was the first one out of the gates. Since we are all very competitive, there's never a dull moment. Someone is always whining about something or looking for revenge!
Dad starts his BIG exams tomorrow, so we got him a bag full of chocolate candy to sustain him through the next few grueling weeks. He's always joking about who brought him chocolate candy (because he loves it) and we have actually never given him chocolate candy until now! See, Dad, it only took you turning 60 for us to FINALLY buy you some chocolate candy. Happy Birthday!
