Two for Three

The Detroit Tigers fell to the Devil Rays last night. But not without Jack going 2 for 3 from plate.

Jack ripped a triple bringing in one run. He later scored on a squeeze play.

After striking out his second time at bat, Jack picked up a grounder and barrelled it to the first baseman to get one of the team's only recorded outs.

The Tigers could not get their bats fired up. Sixteen strikouts against a team that we were unable to determine if they could field the ball. Frustrating.

Jack ended the night with a Single.

One highlight: Neil, the coach's son, snagged a pop fly and then ran to first to force a double play.

This Thursday, I'm coaching and we are doing a HITTING camp.
