Tigers in a slump

Today Jack's team lost 7-6 to the Blue Jays in the 6th inning. Jack went 1 for 3 with a single and two strike outs. He made two key outs in the 6th inning at 1st base (he fielded two grounders and stepped on the bag). It was frustrating because the boys could not string many hits together. The Tigers did make a come back in the 6th inning with a four run rally to force the home team Blue Jays to bat again, leading 6-5. One boy on Jack's team got his first hit of the season and ended up scoring a run. It was very exciting!
Unfortunately this marks a 3 game losing streak for the Tigers. They face the Cubs on Wednesday who they tied at the beginning of the season.
On the bright side of things, David built a fort with some of his friends during the game. They were beyond the centerfield fence and it was fun watching the progress as they made sort of a lean-to and covered it with hackberry branches.
Tis the life of a 7 year old Little Leaguer and his 9 (almost 10) year old brother!
