Jack's Home Run

Tonight Jack's team played the Cubs and it ended in a 10-10 tie. Jack hit his first homerun. Unfortunately no one was on base. It was in the park - a screamer towards third base which hit the fence. He hit solid all night. He had at least one put out at 1st...a catch from the pitcher and another catch that was declared a tie to the runner. He played well except for the grounder he let get past him in left center field. He was ready, but picked up his glove too soon in anticipation of the throw! He was really moving to the ball tonight. Of course he was extremely pumped about his homerun and let everyone know!

He had a good time and is a leader from his experience last year and his great attitude with all the players. He knows all of their names and tells them "good job" or "good try" regardless of how they do.
