Mama Bear-Another Birthday Milestone!

Today's Nor's Birthday.
We had fun this morning, by going on a Scavenger Hunt for her gifts.
I didn't tell the boys anything about what I got her...they have a hard time keeping a secret.
In her Birthday card...I inserted a clue that read:

Some gifts are in plain sight. The bookcase by the door is your first
clue. My cover is green and these abs are for you.

Hidden in the bookcase was the book "The Abs Diet for Women". We are eating healthier and we really like this plan. Nor snided that I was giving her a hint. In the book was the second clue.

We may lose 10 real fast. But we may gain them back. Look
behind the portrait of the smiling Jack.

After some searching, Eleanor found the only portrait with Jack Smiling...and found her second gift. Her favorite movie-How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Taped to the DVD case...was her third clue-

This next gift will help with trimming and a fine cut. Go to the
dark corner of our car-dwelling hut.

Nor went to our garage and found a much-needed Hedge Trimmer for her gardening. Ironically, the Hedge Trimmer was in the garage for 2 weeks...unnoticed.

Lastly, the final clue was attached to the box, it read:

So there is no confusion. Your final gift is in the trunk of my
Fusion.

I think the kids were more excited to see Rock Band for XBOX360.

Nor says I spoil her. I just think she is easy to please and content with what she has. I never want to take her for granted.
