Finally...

Yesterday we spent all day in Aggieland for the Aggie-Baylor game, tailgate parties before and after the game, and most importantly to celebrate Dolores' engagement to Mark McMahon.
She was totally surprised. We were in on it because Mark had invited his parents from Minnesota for the special occasion. So, we were all there in the aftermath -- we were not there for the actual proposal!
Mark proposed to her at the "engagement oak tree" next to the Academic Building. It is a beautiful large oak tree with a little bench under it. She didn't know we would be there or Mark's parents. She was moaning and groaning about getting up at 6 AM for a 11 AM football game. (When this was planned, we thought it was gonna be a night game.)
Oh well, all worked out. We had a great time.
Mark is the athletic trainer at Manvel High School between MoCity and Alvin. He is getting his masters at UH.
