Their flag is Red, White and GREEN...Really?

FoxNews has a story about the trash left by 'crossers' of the Arizona desert. I wonder how long it will take for the Bleeding Hearts to get upset about trash being left behind by illegal immigrants.

Oh they probably won't get upset because:

1. The 'crossers' don't have a choice. The U.S. should provide garbage receptacles for these 'crossers'.

2. The 'crossers' do not come from a country of production...the U.S. of A. is a just raper of resources and the largest consumer of Earth's resources. So we deserve it.

This probably won't get noticed by the liberal media

Sir,
May I ask what nationality are you?

Being so critical of border "garbage" issues and the supposed individuals responsible, are you active in your own national/state/local environmental efforts? There are a multitude of areas on which you could focus where Americans are grotesquely failing in keeping their own environment pristine and beautiful. Does that upset you? Does that enrage you? Where is the moral responsibility with respect to our own waste? As "Thirsty Bear" made reference to, let's look at our own "back yard", start there, work hard and attempt to preserve our national landscape for future generations. What do you think about that?

Anonymous,

Who are you addressing your questions and comments to? Thirsty Bear, or me?

I happen to know Thirsty Bear and I can tell you that he is an American citizen. But his family heritage is hispanic or latino or whatever you care to label it. He is actually quite active in many areas. His family, his church, his community and his job.

So, for the record, what is your nationality? And what difference does it make in terms of blogging, commentary and opinions?

Wow! I'm Latino. Born and raised in the United States. I was accurate that some would get upset by the announcement of this story.

I'm actively involved in my community and I do feel as a Christian that I have an obligation to care for the resources that are given to us by our Creator. The argument that if I'm not involved in a certain cause or an activist in a movement disqualifies me from commenting or bringing to light an issue is flawed.

I'm Latino and as a proud American it angers me that someone would disgrace our land that they would consider so precious. They have no regard for our laws by crossing into our country. So it angers me that they would litter and rape our land. I proposed a solution. Add trash receptacles along the border.
Oh and for the sake of argument...I give up my Saturdays picking up trash along the Texas highways...so I'm qualified to discuss this issue.

So let me put this into perspective. I own a house and if a person litters in my yard. It makes me upset. I cut my own lawn. I don't hire out. So I have managed my lawn. If a dog leaves a deposit in my flower bed. I will become angry. They are not respectful enough to bag the poop or not litter on my lawn. Because I love my lawn. Well I love my country...and to know the outsiders are doing this really irritates me and it should you. They are unwelcome guests...or guests and they pooped on our lawn. Is there no pride or regard for your own 'backyard'?

Notice I didn't ask if you owned a house or mowed your own lawn or what your nationality is...because it doesn't matter. As a human being...you know what I'm talking about regardless of your status. So please don't use that argument.

Now do we as a country disregard our resources and take for granted the wonderful country we live in? Yes. I can only do my part. I agree.

Let me remind you that if the majority of crossers are Mexican and that is an assumption(a good one)...Mexico has the most stringent environment laws in the world. So I'm angered even more.

I posted this article for the purpose of knowledge and what an unfortunate effect from all the crossing.

The backyard comment was a joke between KJKEB and I.

I look forward to the discussion.
Oh and thank you for visiting the Bear's Den.
