David and Jack joined the Boy Scouts of America...Troop 789 stationed at Houston's First Baptist Church. David is a Webelo and Jack is a Tiger Scout. They joined just in time to be volunteered for the Popcorn Fundraiser.
Selling Popcorn door-to-door is very difficult thing. Jack and David took the rejection in stride. I told them now they understood what Thirsty Bear does for a living.
Jack almost lost his composure after being told "no" for a third time. But he bucked up...and sighed. I told him "Great job, Jack. It's hard. Remember they are NOT saying no to Jack...they are saying no to Popcorn at this time."
So want to buy some popcorn???
